Jayvin began his wrestling career in June 2008 after being brought in to Eightieth-Street Wrestling by Jaxon Connelly. After many backyard events with Eightieth-Street Wrestling and Elite Pro Wrestling Federation (EPWF) Jayvin was one of the founding members of the Ultimate Wrestling Experience (UWE), which was created in 2011, and officially started his career in independent pro wrestling.

On November 12, 2010 he suffered an ACL joint separation in his shoulder. That was the night before The UWE’s Rise 2 Power event. This did not stop his dream of rising to the top and become the greatest performer in all of The UWE.

In his time with the UWE, Jayvin has held the tag team titles once with Richie Nightmare. That was until Dawn of a New Era when Nightmare turned his back on Jayvin and took the tag titles with him to Hollywood’s Finest.

At Knight of Glory Jayvin tried to get revenge on Nightmare in an 8-man tag match. Nightmare kept his distance from Jayvin the whole match until it was down to those two in the ring. That’s when fist started flying and the match resulted in a double count out.

After months of Nightmare trying to avoid Jayvin, these two met once more at Road to Revenge. Richie Nightmare thought he had the upper hand when he recruited “The Black Machismo” Jay Lethal, but Jayvin joined forces with Sage Strong. Nightmare’s arrogance caused him to turn on Lethal resulting in him losing the match and receiving a four post massacre by Jaxon Connelly, Jayvin, Jay Lethal, and Sage Strong.
